The Minitek CTW 2-mm active latch debuts as the first such connector to be intermateable with existing elements in a modular connector system. Also detailed as the lowest-profile active latch housing on the market, the component takes on harsh and high-vibration environments, such as those common to industrial or automotive applications. The latch, basically a housing for crimp-to-wire systems, attaches and detaches to/from PCBs with an audible click. Additionally, the Minitek modular board-to-board and cable/wire-to-board interconnect system is part of the company's Basics+ program. FCI USA INC., Etters, PA. (800) 237-2374.
