Angled DIMM Connectors Fit Tight Spots

Oct. 1, 1998

For applications such as high-end servers, network equipment, workstations, add-on graphics and other tightly spaced electronics, these right-angled or 25° DIMM connectors feature contacts that are molded into the housing and plastic pegs for retaining sockets to the boards. Dual latches align modules for insertion, reduce micro-motion and produce an audible click when closed.
