Board Implements DeviceNet Interface In PC/104 Format

March 1, 1999

Direct connection between a computer equipped with a PC/104 interface and a DeviceNet network is made possible by the DeviceNet Pro interface card. The entire DeviceNet protocol is executed on the board. It supports all standard DeviceNet baud rates of 125, 250 and 500 kbaud. The board comes with software that includes a DeviceNet node commissioning tool and network diagnostic tools. Applications for the board include: operator interface and HMI; PC control; network configuration; troubleshooting and diagnostics; I/O emulation; and device development.
