Carrier Board Puts Four PMC Modules On VME CPU Cards

Expanding the total number of PMC modules that can be installed on CPU board to four, PEX3 PMC module carrier board for VMEbus systems allows the addition of up to 128 MB of flash memory to a system and provides a high-speed secondary PCI bus for fast communications with multiple system boards. The PEX3 attaches directly to a CPU board's PMC connector or stacks on top of the firm's PMC module attached directly to the CPU board. Flash memory upgrades are available in 4-, 8-, 16-, 32-, 64- or 128-MB versions.
