Designed specifically to meet the coupling/decoupling needs of modern computer motherboards, where processor speeds in excess of 400 MHz are common, this series of low-inductance ceramic multilayer capacitors has its terminations on the longer side, resulting in a size that is shorter than conventional products, thereby reducing equivalent series inductance. The series, in Class 2 X7R dielectric, features an ESL of 500 pH. The caps also feature high series resonance frequency, providing the added bonus of broad bandwidth. They are available in capacitances from 10 to 100 nF.
