Featuring a top-loading design for high-density pc boards, the firm’s Model 1060 coin-cell battery holder is intended for automatic surface-mount placement in applications such as computer memory, power transfer, backup and others. The holder’s solder tails are located outside of the insulator material for inspection by vision systems.Spring tension is used to assure low contact resistance; battery polarity is clearly marked. The holder accepts all major manufacturers’ 2032 coin-cell lithium batteries and is safe for most soldering and reflow operations.
