MicroPower Direct’s MPM-04E family of compact, low-cost, single- and dual-output 4-W ac-dc power supplies meet the ErP directive’s "Green Power" requirements
MicroPower Direct’s new family of compact, low-cost, single- and dual-output 4-W ac-dc power supplies meet the ErP directive’s “Green Power” requirements. The MPM-04E series of 10 standard models operate from a universal input of 85 to 264 V ac, providing outputs of 3.3, 5, 9, 12, 14, 15, 24, +5/+3.3, +12/+5, ±12, or ±15 V dc. Features include filtering to EN55022 Class B, 3-kV ac I/O isolation, and tight line/load regulation. Overload, overvoltage, and short-circuit protection is incorporated. MTBF is more than 330,000 hours. Operating temperature ranges from -25 to +60°C (ambient). Thanks to a Class II input, the ErP- and Energy Star-compliant MPM-04E can be used without an earth ground connection. A miniature PCB-mount package suits the power supplies well in a variety of board-level applications for industrial and commercial equipment, particularly for remote or portable equipment where a reliable ground often isn’t available.
