A rack-mount system with a computer telephony bus and hot swap capability, the ZT 5081 6U 14-slot development system lets OEM designers quickly order the basic feature set needed to develop CompactPCI applications. The system offers a single-board computer with a Pentium processor with MMX technology, an IDE hard drive, a floppy drive, a SCSI interface and two 150W hot-swap power supplies. The feature set is housed in a 19", rack-mount IEEE 1101.10-compliant CompactPCI chassis with a 14-slot backplane suitable for both general-purpose and telecommunications uses. Additionally, 32- or 64-bit CompactPCI cards can be accommodated, and H.110 Computer Telephony Bus for voice and other telephony applications are supported. IEEE 1101.11-style rear transition cards simplify cabling. This backplane also supports peripheral and I/O cards adhering to the Hot Swap Specification of the PCI Industrial Computer Manufacturers Group (PCIMG).
