Connector Links Tuner Modules To Set-Top Box PC Boards

Nov. 1, 1999

The Eliminator is a male F connector designed to allow set-top box tuner modules to be connected directly to the pc board. They do away with the additional cable that's typically required for this application. The connector is suited for use in a wide array of set-top box designs, from those providing analog or digital video to higher-end units supporting cable-modem and voice-over-IP technologies. With the connector, assembly time and cost savings are realized as is a saving in pc board space.
