Flex Circuit Can Replace PC Boards

April 1, 1999

A thin, flexible polyester circuit with active components that can be substituted for rigid pc boards, Intelliflex is said to have stable electrical properties under heat and humidity and resistance to corrosive environments such as sulfur. The product has proprietary silver conductive inks that reduce silver migration compared with commercial inks when tested under 85°C at 85% RH conditions. Intelliflex uses stable conductive epoxy to adhere components in the space saving circuit.
