Designed for in-car systems, i.e., navigation and digital dashboards, the large-scale integration (LSI) MB86R01 SoC packs an ARM926EJ-S CPU core, 2D and 3D graphics, in-car networking features, and support for various media interfaces. Fabricated using 90-nm CMOS process technology, the chip also includes the company's embedded graphic-display controller. Peripheral I/O includes CAN and Media-LB interfaces, USB port, IDE66 (Parallel-ATA/ATAPI-4) hard-disk interface, and an 12S audio interface. Additionally, the chip supports DDR2 RAM access.
