With four times the number of channels of other VME boards, the 32-channel, 6U Model 6802 analog-to-digital converter (ADC) VME board features high performance. Model 6802 offers 32 channels of delta-sigma analog/digital conversion with precise, linear-phase low-pass filtering. Each ADC features 24 bits of resolution at sampling rates from 1 to 216 kHz. The front-panel sync input signal enables the synchronization of multiple 6802 boards. In addition to onboard programmable gain instrumentation amplifiers and anti-aliasing filters, it features a front-panel data port (FPDP) output interface that supports a multitude of commercial off-the-shelf FPDP peripherals. Data tagging is also available to correlate the channel number and the sample data. The outputs of up to eight 6802 boards (maximum of 256 channels) can be combined over a single FPDP cable to support a range of system configurations. Available now, Model 6802 starts at $7995.
