Designed to efficiently supply power to large LCD displays backlit by multiple tubes and/or requiring high power, the R Series of dc-to-ac inverters can be scaled to meet the power demands of numerous systems. A single R Series inverter can be used to power up to 10 cold-cathode fluorescent tubes to offer significant advantages compared with multiple-inverter implementations. These are said to include lower overall cost, space savings and elimination of interference with display scanning rates that multiple inverters can cause.The devices are fully encapsulated for excellent environmental protection and are available in a standard pc-board mounted package. Internal PWM control is a standard feature.
