A single-component DAA module that meets the ITU's V.90 standard for 56-kbps modem interoperability is offered in a low-profile, 68-pin PLCC. The XEV90, which occupies less than one square inch of board space, provides a simple, complete telephone-line interface for embedded modems or other telephone line-connected functions. It supports all analog modem speeds up to and including ITU V.90-compliant 56-kbps modulation schemes. Typical total harmonic distortion is less than –84 dB througout the 4-kHz voice band.
