The DR340-X series surface-mount inductors have a low-seated profile from 3.4 to 8.0 mm above the circuit board. Their shielded design minimizes radiated noise. They feature resistance values from 0.007 to 1.53 ‡ and current ratings from 0.40 to 9.8 A maximum. Inductance ranges from 1.2 to 1000 µH. Operating from -40°C to 85°C, each part is built with UL94V-0-compliant materials. They're compatible with high-speed, automated pick-and-place assembly and high-temperature soldering equipment. The inductors suit use in dc-dc converters and switch-mode power supplies used to power telecommunications systems, such as servers, network switches, and routers. All are available in tube and tape-and-reel packaging. The DR340-X series devices start at $0.56 each in production volumes. Lead time is up to six weeks.
