Male Crimp/SMT Connectors Meet High-Rel Mart

Aug. 1, 2001

Designed for high-reliability, cable-to-cable applications, the Datamate series now includes male crimp and vertical surface-mount connectors. The dual-row male crimp devices provide strain relief with friction or locking latches. Moldings for these connectors are manufactured from Nylon 46, allowing numerous contact replacements if required. The vertical surface-mount connector is available with four to 44 contact positions in a dual row format, providing a maximum board-to-board stacking height of 0.295". It features a unique design whereby the turned contacts use a button-style surface mount termination, keeping the connector footprint within the housing profile.
