Claimed as having distinctive features, the M series pc-board mount rocker and paddle switches includes a bias guard to prevent misalignment of contacts, interlocking of the actuator block with the rocker, and an internal guide that prevents the diagonal force on the actuator from reaching the contact mechanism. In addition, prominent external insulating barriers increase insulation resistance and dielectric strength. Mechanical life is rated at 50,000 operations minimum. The molded case has a UL 94V-0 flammability rating. All M series models are UL recognized and CSA certified. Electrical capacity is rated at either 6A at 125 Vac or 0.4 VA maximum at 28 Vac/dc maximum. The M series is offered in one, two, three or four poles with multiple circuit configurations including momentary and maintained action. Rocker and paddle styles are varied in size, shape and color. Accessory options include snap-in bezels, with or without side-mounted LEDs. Terminals are epoxy sealed to lock out flux and other contaminants. The M switch can be specified with power, logic level or dual ratings. NKK SWITCHES, Scottsdale, AZ. (480) 991-0942.
