Modem Module Claimed As Industry's Smallest

At just 1.10" x 1/10" x 0.60" in size, the InchModem lays claim as the smallest, full-featuring modem module in the industry. The modem is fully self-contained, including built-in data pump, modem controller and on-board international DAA. Standard features include 56 kbps or 33.6 kbps data speed, 14.4 kbps fax speed, voice recording and playback, caller ID and DTMF decode. The module is designed to meet global telecom compliance and worldwide safety requirements including FCC68, CTR21, UL1950 third edition, CB scheme and TUV. While supporting a wide variety of operating systems including DOS, Windows, Linux and Unix, the module is suited for applications that include wireless base stations, set-top boxes, Internet appliances, remote monitoring systems and other embedded applications.
