PC/104 Module Suits High-Volume, Mid-Range Apps

March 1, 2000

Targeting high-volume, mid-range applications, the Diamond-MM-AT PC/104 data acquisition module provides 16 12-bit analog inputs, two 12-bit analog outputs, programmable gain, a 100-kHz sampling rate, FIFO, extended temperature operation, and auto-calibration. The auto-calibration feature allows virtually instantaneous calibration at any time without external equipment.
The board uses an EEPROM to store target calibration measurements and correction factors. And an on-board eight-channel, 8-bit D/A converter provides the fine-tuning adjustments for the analog input and output circuitry.
The board requires a +5V supply and operates at temperatures ranging from -40°C to +85°C. The Diamond-MM-AT is backward compatible with the company's existing boards and is priced at $395 each/1-9 and $296 each/100.
