For BGAs, flip chips and SMT devices, Summit 1000 semi-automated rework station offers independent top and bottom heater, split vision system, and linear bearing table. A proprietary pickup tube operates independently of the heating nozzle to lift components from boards. A split prism vision shuttle for accurate component alignment and a split mirror allows the operator to see bumps, leads or pc board pads. The X-Y table offers linear bearing slides for smooth point-to-point movement, and an optional computer-controlled pneumatic locks securely to the table and can accommodate board sizes up to 18" x 22". Auto profiling software automatically determines the correct temperature range and parameters with the simple connection of a thermocouple.
