The MB-06048, a PICMG 1.3-style single-board computer, supports either one or two single- or dual-core AMD Opteron processors. It also features PCI Express and PCI-X 64-bit/133-MHz support, plus video. In dual-core deployment, the second processor interfaces via a stackable HyperTransport extension card. Measuring 33.86 cm x 12.64 cm, the SBC includes integrated ATI 64 MB M9 graphics, three 10/100/1000 Gigabit Ethernet LAN ports, four USB ports, an NVIDIA nForce Professional 2200 chipset, 4X SATA with RAID, 16-lane PCI Express slot, PCI-X 64-bit/133 MHz, support for up to 8 GB of RAM, and a standard IDE interface. Additionally, the board supports Linux Debian 64 and Windows XP 32-/64-bit operating systems. Without CPU and RAM, single-unit price is $1,000, and a CPU extension board adds $250.
