Consisting of 16 different parts spanning inductance values of 10 µH at 3.28A to 560 µH at 0.45A, the SMI-3 series of surface-mount inductors has typical dimensions of 0.390'' x 0.354'' x 0.157'' high. With pads solder-masked to the core, the inductors can be IR or vapor phase soldered directly to pc boards. Tolerances for inductance values are 20% for the 10 to 47 µH values and 10% for 56 to 560 µH values.
