STD Bus SBC Endures Harsh Industrial Environments

Based on the Intel Tillamook Pentium processor, the LPM-TX STD-bus, single-board computer (SBC) operates in temperatures from -40ûC to +85ûC, making it suitable for industrial and harsh-environment applications. The board operates at 166 MHz and includes 16 KB of code and 16 KB of cache plus a floating point processor.Adding to its durability, 32 or 64 MB of SDRAM is soldered directly to the board. The board also incorporates the 430TX PCI chipset that contains the core logic to maintain PC-compatibility for the I/O and bus-interface logic including the keyboard controller, 16-channel interrupt controller, and real-time clock. A 32-pin socket supports up to 288 MB of disk-on-chip flash memory.Operating from 5V and drawing 1.5A, peripheral and I/O support includes two RS-232 channels and optional RS-422/485 support, one USB port, parallel port, floppy-disk interface, EIDE hard-disk interface, and a mouse port.
