Saving board space in the area of 80% over traditional topologies, the THS7327 debuts as the first video amplifier with integrated filters that supports analog RGB and digital horizontal and vertical (HV) sync signals. The chip provides three analog channels for video and two digital channels for HV sync. The analog channels employ unity gain buffering and monitor feed-through paths to handle all standard video formats. It includes I2C-programmable functions including 2:1 input multiplexers, fifth-order anti-aliasing filters, and input bias modes including dc, level shift plus dc, and ac and ac sync tip clamp. Price is $3.35 each/1,000. TEXAS INSTRUMENTS INC., Dallas, TX. (800) 477-8924.
