USB Plugs And Sockets Connect Up To 127 Computer Peripherals

Available in horizontal and vertical A-types, a dual A-type, and a horizontal mount B-type, these new USB plugs and sockets are designed to interconnect up to 127 computer peripherals. The interconnects simplify PC setups and can achieve data transfer speeds up to 12 Mbps. They may be connected or disconnected without turning off a computer and and are manufactured using phosphor bronze shells, thermoplastic, UL-rated 94V-0 insulators, and gold-plated phosphor contacts. The plugs and sockets also feature solder tails that snap-in to hold the connectors in position for wave soldering. Applications include digital cameras, scanners, trackballs, keyboards, printers, modems, phones, and fingerprint identification systems.
