VME SBC Flaunts Five PMC Slots

With a peak performance of 1 GHz, the Mariner II V158 VME-based single-board computer (SBC) provides user with five PMC expansion slots. The SBC is available with three processor options: a Celeron processor with 128 KB of cache operating at up to 500 MHz, or Coppermine-128 and Coppermine-256 CPUs with 256 KB of cache and operation up to 1 GHz.
The board itself provides up to 256 KB of on-die L2 cache, 512 MB of SODIMM RAM, a 10/100 Base-TX Ethernet interface, and two Ultra DMA-33 IDE hard-disk drive interfaces. In terms of I/O capabilities, two USB ports, two comm ports, parallel port, floppy-disk port, and mouse and keyboard interfaces are provided. The board supports 144 MB of disk-on-chip flash memory. Other features include front-panel I/O and support for Windows NT 4.0/2000, VxWorks, Linux, Solaris and QNX. Prices start at $1,995.
