VME64x Extender Board Provides Jo Connectors

Oct. 1, 1998
The VME64EXB12DJO-CS/SW board extends all pins of the 5-row, 32-pin connector and the 133-pin Jo concurrently as specified in the VME64x specification. Extended boards can be run at full rated speed because it provides extremely low inductance power

The VME64EXB12DJO-CS/SW board extends all pins of the 5-row, 32-pin connector and the 133-pin Jo concurrently as specified in the VME64x specification. Extended boards can be run at full rated speed because it provides extremely low inductance power and ground paths between the backplane across the extender board to the power connector pins of the board outside the chassis. Signals from all connectors are sent across the extender board similar to the way signals pass through coax cable.
