The ExcelAir MTR3010 wireless access transceiver is an outdoor unit that combines an integrated antenna and frequency diplexed transceiver operating in the licensed 3.4 to 3.6 GHz fixed wireless access frequency band. The company has designed the MTR3010 to interface with indoor wireless modems and routers made by several manufacturers, allowing a speedier deployment of wireless Internet connectivity to many countries. The transceiver is available in eight, 25 MHz band plans, all with transmit and receive functions separated by 100 MHz. The MTR3010 has an 18 dBi gain, flat-panel antenna designed using the company's AI optimization software. The transmit power to the antenna is +28 dBm and is activated on a packet-to-packet basis. Power is supplied with an indoor power inserter and power supply module that feeds dc power to the transceiver through the interconnecting IF cable. REMEC, Milpitas, CA. (408) 432-9898.
