The CMX994 direct-conversion receiver targets next generation multi-mode software defined radios (SDRs). Features include a VCO for VHF applications, an operating frequency range of 100 MHz to 1 GHz, baseband filtering with selectable bandwidths, and a footprint measuring less than 50% of a dual superhet. Additionally, the device employs single ended RF connections, eliminating the need for baluns. The CMX994 operates at 3V to 3.6 V and comes in a Q4 40 VQFN package.
