A silicon monolithic double-balanced mixer in a low-cost SMT 8-pin plastic MSOP, the MA4EX900L-1226 uses firm's HMIC silicon/glass process to achieve low-loss passive elements while retaining the advantages of low-barrier silicon Schottky diodes.

A silicon monolithic double-balanced mixer in a low-cost SMT 8-pin plastic MSOP, the MA4EX900L-1226 uses firm's HMIC silicon/glass process to achieve low-loss passive elements while retaining the advantages of low-barrier silicon Schottky diodes. These mixers are well suited for wireless and cellular applications where small size and repeatability are required. Typical applications are frequency conversion, modulation, and demodulation for receivers and transmitters in portable and base station equipment.
