The TM-1300 TriMedia media processor handles up to 6.5 billion operations per second (BOPS) and provides designers with a system-on-chip device for numerous digital applications. These include set-top boxes, video editing, video telephony and more.

The TM-1300 TriMedia media processor handles up to 6.5 billion operations per second (BOPS) and provides designers with a system-on-chip device for numerous digital applications. These include set-top boxes, video editing, video telephony and more. The processors are powered by a VLIW programmable CPU that's capable of processing up to five instructions per clock cycle and that supports an RTOS. A full development environment is available for the chips, which are offered in 143- and 166-MHz versions.
