Designed for asymmetrical digital subscriber line (ADSL) G.Lite Systems, the DRV1101 5V line driver is used to transmit information from the customer (upstream) to the central office. This device operates on a 5V supply and supplies up to 230 mA peak output current with an output voltage swing of 7 VPK-PK. In ADSL G.Lite applications, the device supplies 10-dBm average line power with a crest factor of 5.3 for a peak line power delivered of approximately 25 dBm.
