Published documents on works in process are hard to access and interpret, but it’s still worth a look. The Ethernet Alliance was started in 2005 to help foster the development of Ethernet and disseminate relevant information. It’s a great source of news, status, and other information. You should read it daily. Brad Booth, EA chairman, was a major contributor to this article. Finally, the Metro Ethernet Forum is the ultimate goldmine source of Carrier Ethernet information.
