Aimed at the automotive, industrial and consumer markets, the TH7110 through TH71112 family of double superheterodyne RF receiver chips enable designers to match their RF receiver system requirements by each application's frequency range, modulation scheme, blocking, and channel requirements. These receiver ICs have been specifically designed for applications in the unlicensed Industrial-Scientific-Medical (ISM) and Short-Range-Devices (SRD) frequency bands (300 to 950 MHz). The circuits can be used either as a single-channel double-conversion, single-channel single-conversion or as a multi-channel double superhetrodyne receiver. All modulation schemes that are typically used in current low-power receivers are supported including: frequency shift keying (FSK), frequency modulation (FM) and amplitude shift keying (ASK). An optional automatic-frequency control (AFC) circuit can be configured in case the RF input signal suffers from wide carrier frequency tolerances. Typical applications include: car remote keyless entry, immobilizers, remote tire pressure control, alarm systems, security monitoring, telemetry, garage door openers, baby monitors, wireless door bells, and walkie talkies.
