The S5990-01/5991-01 surface-mount 2D position-sensitive detectors operate over active areas of 4 by 4 mm and 9 by 9 mm, respectively, with corresponding position-detection errors of ±70 and ±150 mm. Spectral response range is 320 to 1100 nm with peak sensitivity at 960 nm. Other specifications include 0.6-A/W photo sensitivity, 7-kW interelectrode resistance, and 500-mA maximum photocurrent.
