Optimized for performance in 75-Ω applications, the CCR-33M coaxial switch will find its way into broadcast and cable TV systems. Other applications include cable-modem networks and aircraft and home video entertainment systems. The single-pole, double-throw (SPDT) device switches signals from a common input to either of two outputs, operating from dc to 3 GHz with characteristic impedance of 75 Ω. It's offered with either a fail-safe or latching actuator at voltages of 12, 15, or 28 V dc. The CCR-33M has a 20-ms switching time. Indicator circuits and self-cutoff options are among its features. Weighing 1.65 oz, the part is offered in a standard SPDT RF switch package or in a narrow-body configuration. Both packages feature female mini-SMB connectors. The CCR-33M meets mil-std-202 requirements for shock and vibration. Pricing ranges from $88 to $273 in 250-unit lots.
