Crush-resistant armor—in either plastic or metal—protects a line of HDMI audio/video cables with Ethernet from L-com. The plastic armor has a crush resistance of 1000 psi, while the stainless-steel metal armor features a 1500-psi crush resistance. Double shielding and 30-µin. gold-plated contacts protect sensitive audio and video signals from interference. The cables are particularly suited to applications where there’s potential exposure to excessive force, such as in the military, security, and industrial fields. Six different lengths are available.
