New audio alerts have been approved to meet new medical equipment requirements. The new specification will require medical and analysis equipment to be provided with alerts that have different frequency level outputs so an individual instrument can be identified by its pitch level. Models TRIE-23xx and TRIE-26xx fully meet these requirements. According to specification, alerts will have audio outputs with frequencies lower than 1,000 cps. Model TRIE-26xx audio alert comes in rated voltages of 6, 12 and 24 Vdc at 40 mA for each rated voltage. Sound pressure is at 75 dBA minimum at 400 ±100 Hz. The TRIE-23xx EM buzzer is designed in both panel and PC mount, with rated voltages of 1.5 Vdc at 20 mA, and 3, 6, 9, 12 and 24 Vdc at 25 mA for each rated voltage. Sound pressure across the voltage range is the same as for the TRIE-26xx. Delivery is quoted at from stock to four weeks ARO. Pricing is $1.70 ea/1,000. TRANSDUCERS USA, Elk Grove Village, IL.
