A new series of battery compartment lid kits can be mounted onto standard enclosures that do not yet have a battery compartment. Kits consist of a three-part assembly molded in ABS (UL 94 HB). The assembly has an external frame, an internal frame, a clip-on lid, and comes in off-white or black. The enclosure must be drilled with four or six mounting holes, depending on the lid size, and milled with a rectangular aperture to suit the external frame.
