Using the same capacitive sensing elements originally designed for use in test and evaluation sensors, the series 3601 accelerometers are capable of measuring low-level, low-frequency vibration and static acceleration. These devices are claimed to offer the advantage of strong output signals, low-noise operation, shock protection up to 3000g, and the ability to measure true-dc acceleration. Additional features include stainless-steel housing, hermetically sealed construction, sensitivities up to 1 v/g, and rugged four-pin connectors or integral cables. A variety of powering options are available.
