A variety of options is offered in a line of circuit protection components for secondary circuits. The devices provide short-circuit protection by means of a rated breaking point. Upon sensing a short or high fault current, a wire element melts to interrupt current flow. The devices are stable under varying ambient temperatures and provide highly defined cutoff times. Ratings run from 125 mA to 4A.
