Compliant with PICMG 2.0 R3.0 and PICMG 2.1 R1.0 specs, the company's 9U CompactPCI backplane provides two slots and mounts horizontally in the chassis with 3U of the backplane devoted to power supply and header connectors. Versions conforming to PICMG 2.16 for compact packet switching and H.110 computer telephony specification 2.5 R1.0 are also available. The backplane features an 8-layer controlled impedance stripline design and exhibits virtually zero crosstalk. Additionally, right- and left-justified versions are available, as well as 32-bit and 64-bit designs. Depending on volume and configuration requirements, pricing is under $200 each.
