The WSE0805 Metal Strip surface-mount (SMT) power resistor combines a 0.25-W rating and a resistance range of 10 Ω to 10 k Ω in a very small 0805 package. It measures 0.080 by 0.050 in. (2.30 by 1.27 mm) with a maximum height of 0.025 in. (0.64 mm). It also has a temperature coefficient of resistance (TCR) of 15 ppm/°C, tight tolerance down to 0.1%, and low noise of −40 dB. Other features include a very low inductance of 0.06 H and a voltage coefficient of 0.00001%/V (0.1 ppm/V). The operating temperature ranges from −65°C to 150°C. Sample quantities are available now at $0.20 each. Lead time for larger orders is six to eight weeks.
