Developed for advanced military applications and now available for general commercial use, this conductive material-loaded silicone shielding tape is available in various formulas of carbon loading or carbon/silver loading with attenuation performance of 48 dB at up to 10 GHz. The tape is well-suited for use with cables, cable networks, electronics enclosures, and, especially, where irregular surface must be shielded. By spiral wrapping each layer slightly over the previous one, the tape fuses itself over the wrapped component. Various widths are available.
