Now available for different types of standard crystal packaging, including HC-49u, the ovens keep the crystal exposed to a specified temperature from 65°C to 85°C, ±3°C. They can often eliminate the need for costly crystal oscillators. And they can be used to keep other temperature sensitive devices on the circuit exposed to a constant temperature range.
