Originally designed for use as current sensing components, the SL1, SL2 and TSL series have proven effective as high-power SMT resistors. The molded devices consist of a resistive element attached to a copper leadframe, embedded in a liquid crystal polymer. The SL1 and TSL devices have a power rating of 1W with a TCR (max.) of ±180 ppm/°C (R = 15 milliohms). Their absolute maximum working voltage is 200V and absolute maximum overload voltage is 400V. The SL2 series has a power rating of 2W and a TCR max. of ±180 ppm/°C (R = 11 milliohms). The absolute maximum working voltage is 500V and the absolute maximum overload voltage is 1,000V. Resistance tolerances for the resistors include ±1% and ±5% and standard operating temperatures range from -55°C to +180°C.
