Lauded for overcoming the limitations of traditional cabinet design, a new 19" cabinet is designed to be customized to individual requirements. The 20,000 Series cabinet targets defense, security, data communication, broadcast and telecommunication applications. Using design-for-manufacturing methods, each user can select x-axis, y-axis, and z-axis dimensions according to the intended application. Employing a welded steel construction using interlocking components, the product platform eliminates the need for manufacturing jigs. The cabinet uses pre-tapped holes within the rack angles. These holes conform to EIA spacing. Rack angles are located in a C channel mount permitting infinite positional, front-to-rear, adjustment of the equipment to be installed within the cabinet. For electromagnetic compatibility, the cabinet platform can be modified easily to meet multiple levels of attenuation. Rack accessories include shelves, fan units and power strips.
