Sporting a rugged design capable of withstanding motion generated by automated machinery, the Chainflex continuous-flex data cables are also said to exhibit the low capacitance and controlled impedance required by said machinery. Intended for continuous flexing, the cables employ a number of unique design principles. These include conductor bundling, special conductor strand selection, tight pitch, core and shield, tension core fillers, and abrasion-resistant jackets.
