Designed to provide six channels of ESD protection for components or sub-systems, PAC DN006 is a diode array in an 8-pin MSOP package targeted at portable applications, such as the I/O ports of cellular phones, notebooks and PDAs. The device protects up to six inputs, delivering 15 kV of ESD protection per the Human Body Model, specified in Method 3015 of MIL-STD-883. It also meets the stringent requirements of the International Standard IEC1000-4-2 and provides immunity to Level IV. The protection diodes feature low input capacitance, loading a protected input with typically only 3 pF. Diode clamping voltage at 10A peak current is typically only 10V. Samples are available.
