Designed to meet the most demanding design criteria, including the Euro-Community EN 418 safety specification, the series 04 and 01 emergency stop switches instantly shut down a machine or other equipment with a single push on a red actuator. Foolproof in operation, these switches prevent teasing of the actuator, which can result in premature or unreliable operation. Both series are constructed such that they eliminate the possibility of lodging an object behind the actuator to block the switch’s emergency stop action. For further security and to ensure that processes are not started prematurely after emergency shutdown, re-activation of the switch requires twisting the actuator by hand or by unlocking it with a key. Single-unit pricing starts at $9.95 each.
